A really good buy!

Bought the FiiO E18 for almost a week now. So far, the sound quality is really good and I am truly impressed how it can drive from my Samsung Note 3 & Apple iPod as an amplifier. I would highly recommend the E18 to whoever that is looking for big sound and extreme build quality. Truly value for money given the sound quality. Enjoying it so much!

Eargasm with Fiio E18

I was looking for mini audiophile setup with mobile phone and amplifiers in the internet and end up with this FiiO E18.

I am a bit hesitate to buy this product initially but after digging some informations from internet, I receive many goods review for Fiio E18.

So I decided to buy. I made an order on Friday afternoon and receive the item on Monday afternoon. The item delivered without any wrap so it is just the unit, accessories and the box. It is sealed box.

A bit anxious while I open the box, plug the USB cable to my Samsung Galaxy Alpha (it comes with Wolfson chip audio) and put my headphone.

Turn it on my turning the volume control at E18 and fire the music player.

While turning up the volume, I can't believe my ears. All the while I am using the same headphone directly from the phone and playing the same music. But now, I am hearing something different.

All the instruments suddenly become alive. The cymbal, hi-hat, trumpets, bass drum, snare drum, bass, electric guitar and the voice now filling the stage. The sounds are transparent, clear, crisp and solid.

The clarity of the instruments now is much better. You can hear the sound of 'f' and 'v', the different between 'b' and 'd'. Amazing.

It feels like having eargasm after hearing my favorite song with E18.
