Affordable & good replacement cable
-
I paired the FiiO RC-UE2 cable with my Ultimate Ears Super,Fi 5 EB. Overall it's a really good buy, with more pros than cons. Build quality is not bad, very satisfied on the whole.
Pros:
- Cable is tough and nicely braided, really good looking
- There is noticable improvement from the previous RC-UE1 cable
- Bass is more present, which is better in my opinion
Cons:
- There is some microphonics when cable knocks into something

Pretty Awesome for this price point
-
As the product name suggested, this is indeed an upgrade as compared to the original cable. My old cable miraculously survived for a year before dying on me. The cable is very, very microphonic and pretty much makes your noise-cancelling earphone, not so effective. Another gripe: the ear hooks are flabby and it's not very secure.
But hey, who cares about all that? You're paying $70 (plus shipping) for this and at this price this cable is awesome.

Great but still plagued with some flaws
-
Bought this cable to replace my own cable for Ultimate Ears Triple.Fi 10. Sound signature wise it just adds a very slight clarity compared to the original manufactured stock cable. It's much more manageable than the stock cable. Looks and build quality is great. There are only two flaws I can find about this cable. Firstly, the pins seems larger than the OEM ones. So it might eventually stretch the hole it plugs into causing future cable's pins to feel loose. Second flaw which is also its biggest flaw is the microphonics. Just simply in rubbing or hitting the cable against your body when you have your IEM on, you can hear the microphonics. To me, it sounds quite bad. Otherwise, it's quite a good replacement for your TF10.
