We chose a powder-coated aluminum housing for these headphones because the added mass means smoother transitions from the lowest frequency range to the highest. You might also enjoy the authentic 60‘s style, which goes perfectly with skinny ties and sullen glances. The genuine top-grain leather padded head-strap is Brylcreem resistant.
The Top of the Range Prestige Series Headphone. The new SR325e has a new driver and cable design. The added mass from the metal housing minimizes transient distortions. With the new 8 conductor cable design you will notice superb control and stability of the upper and lower range of the frequency spectrum, with both supporting Grado's world renowned midrange. The SR325e will produce a sound that is pure Grado, with warm harmonic colors, rich full bodied vocals, excellent dynamics, and an ultra-smooth top end. - Technical Specifications

These are a great pair of Grados! They make full use of the aluminium shell to better the Grado SR225i. Although an amplifier is not necessary, I recommend the use of one or the sue of something like the Colorfly C4 or the iBasso DX100 with their stronger amplifiers. The stronger amplifiers really help to add the bass and smooth out the treble by having more power to move the hole covers.

Great Grado signature sound. Upgraded from the Grado SR80i. Dynamics, clarity and precision are all improved. The Grado SR325i have been widely criticized as being overly bright, but personally for me it sounds fine, certainly much better than the occassional sharp and fatiguing highs I have heard on my AKG Q701 and perhaps Shure 940. Overall tonal balance is good, though not as strong as a Sennheiser 650. The SR325i in my opinion is very good for rock and pop genres of music. For classical, it is just plainly average, and have heard better from some of its competition. Overall a good pair of audiophile cans, certainly well able to compete with other reputable cans within its price range.

Great pair of headphones from Grado! Fantastic clarity and detail for the price paid for. Extremely tight bass but a bit low on quantity which is exactly how I like the sound to be. Forward sound with a narrow sound stage. Good for vocals and jazz and quite easy to drive too. Overall, one for the best headphones for the price in my opinion.
